Wilt averaged 45 and missed the playoffs

MJ in '87 would have missed the playoffs averaging 37 if the NBA back only allowed around 50% of teams in the postseason like they do today instead of 66% like they did in the 80's.

Kareem missed the playoffs in '76 averaging 28.
