I can't figure out how to play this game online at all.

I used to be at least decent at 2K21 and could usually hang with the other players by using my own tactics and skills.

This game seems to be impossible for me, I don't bother to learn all the skills and combos and such and instead used to win by faking out these zoomers with low post game and fast breaks and such.

In 2K22 it just feels a lot more clunky and it feels like you need to press a lot more buttons and can't go on timing and fakes as much.

And the worst is the people doing the "lag exploit" shit, where they exploit the latency so they can send me flying halfway across the court trying to guard them.

Don't get me started on how lame it is that there isn't any way to be matched with someone with the same team talent in MyTeam and you face these loser who pay to get good cards.

You can play online? I thought it was only split screen. That's wild.

I have it but I play people at my house not online. Years ago a lot of us on here had a team of my players we would play other teams with but those days seem over. I’d play the my player team ups again but I virtually never play random people online in real games.

I like it, but the online is really toxic. I don't like networking and finding people to play with consistently online, and none of my real life friends play 2k. I mostly just putz around in MyLeague. Turned the Orlando Magic into a dynasty this year.

I'm pretty good in Rec if I get an opportunity to touch the ball. I have a 93 6'4" Pure Playmaker (Super Ricky Rubio) and a 93 6'8" Facilitating Shooter (basically a super Joe Ingles). I'm a pass-first player on both of those guys, so randoms just assume I can't play because I'm not chucking at every opportunity.
