Wow his game actually does look very similar. Expected the comparison to be more loose, but I could see the resemblance big time.

His shooting form doesn't look quite as pretty as Book's depending on the look, but the results look similarly effective nonetheless. Seems to be a better rebounder than Book, but that's going off of RPG stats, and that may or may not translate to the NBA level. Book already isn't the most consistent 3pt shooter, and this kids numbers appear to be even less consistent overall based on his percentages. But I'm assuming by this clip that he has the ability to step his game up in the clutch and hit those extra tough shots when the team needs him to most, much like Book, which will give him value as a scorer beyond his percentage numbers.

Definitely a bit less raw than when Book first came into the league, but Book was relegated to being a spot up 3pt sniper as a bench player in college. But Book was younger and came into the league at 18, while this kid will be getting close to 21 years old by the time he hits the NBA. So comparing him to a 20 year old Booker makes more sense for sure.

So basically yet another modern day SG who is better than the likes of Mitch Richmond-Reggie Miller-Latrell Sprewell-John Starks? Yeah, we got those by the metric ton in the modern NBA.

I appreciate the thought Lebron23.
But you do not know Davis.
Yes he is only the second All-American that the badgers have ever had.
But Davis is a slasher. Pure and simple.
His outside shot is slowly 'SSSLLLOOOWWWLYYYY ' developing.
He would get eaten up in the NBA and could never hit a NBA 3.
BUT and this a great BUT ----- > he is going into his junior year.
If that outside shot develops over the next two years he could get picked in the upper 20 draft day.
He likes to play defense , and he is a smart player... so if that outside shot does develop , we could be watching a star for 15 years.

If he's filppino he will never be a GREAT player, maybe GOOD, but never GREAT. Filippinos can't be great at basketball, only good.

Bro johnny davis nothin like booker.

Booker is a better shooter and scorer. Johnny davis is like a throwback SG who plays two ways.

His floor is Malcolm brogdon but I think he will be a little better. but he has potential to be a very good starting SG who can play defense and score 18 20ppg with 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

I saw a lot of johnny davis. Davis hustles like bench roleplayer while playin defense on the best wings averaging 20 plus points.

In the nba he's more a sharper Malcolm brogdon that does two way than superstar scoring.
