Weird. I thought he was about 34 and possibly retired. I haven't even heard his name in a while. It feels like he's been around for some time. He doesn't look 28, he looks mid to late 30s, if not 40s.

Love this guy

Does his job, goes hard, funny and no ego or arrogance.

When Lopez retires as a Buck , I would not mind the Bucks pick up Adams.

Plays great defense, rebounds, and loves to play weak side offense.

As soon as I heard that during the game last night I was like "Say what?" Had to look it up, didn't believe the announcers.

They don't always register births when they happen in New Zealand.

Steven Adams was born in Rotorua, New Zealand, to a Tongan mother and an English father. His father, Sid Adams, served in the Royal Navy and later settled in New Zealand where he fathered 18 children with five women.[1] Sid Adams stood 2.11 metres (6 ft 11 in) tall, and his children inherited his height: Steven Adams' brothers average 2.06 m (6 ft 9 in) tall, while his sisters average 1.83 m (6 ft 0 in).[2] Two of his half-sisters are athletes: Dame Valerie Adams is a dual Olympic gold medallist and four-time world champion shot-putter[2] and Lisa Adams is a para athlete who has won gold at the Paralympics in shot-put.[3] His brothers, Warren and Sid Jr., had careers in the New Zealand National Basketball League.[4][5]

Sid Adams was in his sixties when his youngest child Steven was born, and Sid died in 2006 of stomach cancer.[1] Adams has identified his father's death as one of the defining events of his life. In a 2012 interview, Adams recalled:

the more interesting story might be about New Zealands national basketball team policy of players having to pay for their own fund. in which has caused Adams to refuse to play for the national team due to histories at the junior level.

that's a reasonably poor keep kids away from drugs policy if you ask me.
