Amen, the cringe is off the charts with the whole situation.

Black women make up about 6-7% of the US population. By publicly announcing that he would only pick a black woman for this job (one of the most important jobs in the entire country), Joe insulted her career and completely undermined her legitimacy.

If he really wanted to hire a black woman, he should have said he would nominate the best candidate available and then nominated this woman... instead of being the best black woman candidate available, the narrative would be that she was best overall candidate available.

And for the record I think I kinda like Judge Brown... no she isnt perfect but she seems like a far more sane candidate than I was expecting (given the absurdity of modern liberals).
