^^^ Playing less dominant basketball for longer, aka lower production rate for longer

lesser basketball isn't goat.. only the top caliber of dominance and production rate is the best, and that's Jordan

Jordan was scoring champ and top 5 DPOY from 88-98' - that's goat longevity of the goat dominance

Eliminating curry =

Eliminating drexler, Payton, Barkley

So kawhi's one finals is equivalent to Jordan's 3 the way I see it.

Also since you talk about scoring titles. Kawhi's 732 point scoring total is like two of Jordan's combined. Jordan never came close to that besides in 1992.

Im so nba'd out

88' 2nd Round

Dantley........ 19/5 on 50%

Laimbeer..... 16/13 on 48%

Pippen.......... 9/5 on 46%

89' ECF

Aguirre.... 14/5 on 53%

Pippen..... 9/7 on 40%

90' ECF

Isiah'..... 17.9 and 8.9 apg

Pippen... 16.6 and 3.7 apg

(isiah was 2nd leading scorer for pistons)

Anytime a series was close or lost, it was Pippen's poor play that caused it - see the 92' ECSF or 98' ECF for great examples, but there's quite a few - Pippen laid a lot of duds and maybe that's why Jordan didn't have goat longevity - he's the only guy that didn't have a go-to teammate (the only guy that had to defeat max defensive attention, aka carry scoring load)

2x Champion
2x FMVP
9x Scoring Champ
1x MVP
1x DPOY

This would be a pretty great player all-time, right? Crazy how Mike has that much on Bran after only playing ~11 full seasons in Chicago while Bran is still chasing him in year 19.

Indeed.

Not to mention, 8x scoring champ in playoffs.

Literally the difference between the two is the career of like a top 10ish player.
