In an interview with Greek website gazzetta.gr, Motiejunas recalled his time with Harden. Asked whether the 2018 NBA MVP is a selfish guy, as he is presented by the media, he replied:
"What can I tell you? Based on my own experience, I'll tell you this: the image the media presents of him is the Harden I met. In my opinion, him being one of the few great players of modern times, who hasn't won any titles, is by no means a coincidence."
Apparently not a fan. I remember he mentioned Harden and Dwight both not being very close to the team years ago but I never heard any more about it.

Doesn't surprise me; I think Kevin McHale is a pretty decent person and he questioned Harden's leadership qualities. Kobe also critiqued James' style of play, stating that it wouldn't win championships.

Who would like playing with Harden? The whole narrative about guys like Harden "making the game easy" with their passing ability and assist numbers is especially funny with Harden because he spends the rest of the game making the game difficult by chucking contested stepback 25 footers or snapping his head back trying to dream up fouls. He's a loser.

Harden for sure has his faults.
But It's funny if CP3 doesn't get injured in 2018 we probably wouldn't be having this convo.

That injury actually reinforces the narrative on Harden. All he had to do was carry his team to 1 win.

If we really think the Warriors weren’t winning that series regardless and that would’ve made a difference, then people should really stop making those Warriors out to be the unstoppable force they are made out to be.

Funny logic.
The Rockets and Morey simply built a team tailor made to beat GSW, which featured 2 of the greatest offensive forces the NBA has ever seen.

Just so I understand this correctly:
Rockets with Healthy CP3 + Harden + role players with no championship experience are better then the KD/Steph/Klay/Draymond Warriors but the Cavs with Lebron + Kyrie + Love + role players with championship experience should’ve been considered to have no shot and then take Kyrie off that team and they shouldn’t be even expected to win a game. Really?

You got that exactly right.
Unless you're 10 or something, you'd understand basketball was about dynamics and synergy.
The 2018 Rockets were legit a GOAT-level team in their own right.
The 2018 Rockets were 50-8 with Chris Paul, that's 71-win pace.

Got it. So if those Rockets should’ve beaten the Warriors if healthy then presumably the more talented 2017 Cavs had enough talent to beat them and would’ve if they played a better more dynamic and synergistic style (not ball dominant Lebron-ball) vs getting destroyed in 5.
