I did not make the list, investigate its accuracy, or vouch for it. I simply present it for you to do as you will with it:

I think this is legit. I was wondering where KG was but then I remembered that he's around 45%.

Midrange extends to 23 feet??

Too me, anything over 18ft is considered a long 2.

Dirk certainly took the toughest shots. He had guys in his grill all the time.

Horford used to surprise me with his effectiveness but he was only taking open shots off the catch.

Nash, Durant, Middleton, CJ and Paul take a lot of shots off the dribble. The pull-up j has a lot of value in the playoffs because there is really no way to defend it effectively.

What is meant by 1000 shot minimum? Over the course of their entire careers in this 20 year time span? That doesn't tell us what their proportion of midrange shots is or if theyre even guarded for them. A lot of these guys like horford, David west, Brandon bass lmao were just spot up pick and pop midrange shooters. They weren't great midrange scorers by any means.

If accurate, this pretty much confirms Steph as the GOAT shooter. We already know about his FT and 3pt shooting, but it was his midrange that some people were questioning.

Nobody(essentially) is questioning if Steph is the GOAT shooter. That convo has been dead for a number of years.

I'm a huge Curry fan but Currys volume of midrange shots is way less than guys like Middleton, Paul, or Kobe. Same with Nash. The most impressive thing about this list is Dirk is basically at the top while being hounded in the midrange while it being his bread and butter volume. Nash and Curry got open midrange looks after faking a 3. That was never their bread and butter.

There's about 500 guys that are better 2-point jumpshooters than Curry - there's a bunch of 2-point jumpshots that curry can't even do and he's bad at contested jumpshooting and elevating, which is what 2-point jumpshooting entails

He's also the tallest, didn't need to create the space that a CP3 or Terry has to.
