Of course they play better with than without him when Draymond and Klay are still half-injured, but let's not pretend Curry has any big impact lol.

They were already getting trashed with him for a long stretch after Draymond got hurt...

On the season they are 19-15 without Dray, and many of those games were also without Klay.

In January they won 9 straight without Green. :oldlol:

They are 3-8 without Curry.

Warriors could have won the game against the magic earlier this month but obviously they had to be faithful and be kind to lil precious chef.

What about their good luck charm Iggy? His luck should have been able to carry them past the magic. :lol

So now that they have clinched a playoff spot his good luck can't carry them past the Magic or Wizards?

Curry said it best, the lack of consistency in their line up has been what's been haunting them the most in the recent slump. the Warriors run on chemistry to deliver the first punch, without it, teams are just taking advantage of the lack of communication between them.

Warriors have also really become dependent on their renowned shooter making significant chunks of shots from downtown with the aid of moving screens. Sadly just like the other stars curry is getting older each year and this season his fg% is worse than it was in the past seasons but it was hella funny he still received some mvp chants earlier this season. The problem is that even if he could be playing with his fellow splash bro and the donkey rn it will become a problem for their team if he keeps missing many of those shots as time goes on unless wiggins and poole can step up on a regular basis to compensate for his shooting slump. Or chef himself learns how to adjust defensively. But come playoff time, the pressure would be much more dense versus atm and his numbers significantly drop rt compared to the rs.

what you're seeing is the lack of physicality- in which the 16 Warriors had anticipated in making it to the WCF or even Finals given Thompsons return. however the pressure of the regular season itself has caused them to regress further than they first imagined in comparison to the off-season drills/weight training

Yeah probably. But during those times, they had more than two guys who were at least almost 2.1m tall to sub for green when he isn't playing, with bogut also making the all-defensive second team in 2015. Now they only have exactly two but still need some guidance coming into the postseason.

I think the numbers we're looking at again is whether or not if the Warriors trade half of their team for Gobert makes them a contender, on paper it seems good, but then that's a full team of players who are known to get into foul trouble.

Imagine being that much of a loser that a team losing without its best player somehow stays rent free in your head. Get this dude outside of the basement. :lol

to be fair, a 2nd seed now 3rd seed team should put up an amicable fight without their best player, and it can be argued, that hasn't been the case.

That is if toody is willing to be assigned to a fulltime screensetting role. But it seems he'll be since scoring does not concern him that much. He'll be much like the donkey, except that he's taller while being cumbersome as well.
