OP thought the Will Smith slap was staged.

1. the joke was something will or jada would come up with 25 years ago
2. will laughed after the joke and walking back to his seat
3. hes sitting in the isle seat
4. on the night hes winning an oscar for a role about a no nonsense protector of his family
5. the speech was written based on an after the fact reaction to his actions
6. no reaction from chris rock
7. no reaction from security
8. no punishment from the oscars
9. no apology for it to chris during his speech
10. no comment or beef from chris after the fact
11. the slap was weak
12. the oscars needed controversy to help the ratings
13. will and jada have been trying to make controversial headlines for the past few years
14. bogus. fake. staged. a work. a performance. and a bad one at that. just like his performance as richard williams
15. will also needed to make up for his recent image problem being labeled a cuck for the "entanglement"

too many coincidences

Or, an entitled and egotistical celeb felt slighted and completely overreacted. It could've just been that.

What's funny is in the entire OTC thread, not a single person brought up the fact this wasn't even the first time Will Smith did something like this in public.

if will wasn't winning an oscar and doing a speech about how him and richard williams protect their families....and jada was more relevant and deserving of being part of a current oscar joke in 2022. and the joke was from a character from a movie this decade and not from the 90s. and will wasn't in an isle seat and there was a big commotion and people had to get involved then maybe i'd buy it

I actually brought it up in page 4.

Notice how that thread went silent when Will Smith came out with an apology. All the people who said it was fake earlier are nowhere to be found.

That thread has over 300+ replies, do you know how stupid you sound? While you were here talking about LeBron like you always do, everyone else was talking about the slap.

so a light tap for being molested by a man. and full out rage and tears for a chris rock joke from the 90s that will or jada obviously made chris say.

i refuse to believe anyone would tell a GI jane joke in 2022

He legitimately can't think of other subjects to talk about. If he had friends, LeBron is all he'd talk about with them too.
