Merged 100 point audio with 73 point Knicks game - used scorecards to put the field goals and free throws into correct order. Ever wondered how the game might've looked? Perhaps something like that.

4:30 mark shows how muscular his shoulders were
And that's some fadeaway go-to move - for a big man to get that kind of ELEVATION on a fadeaway - crazy

Same move as MJ, Kobe picked it up, Dirk, Tim Duncan, etc. Timeless move, and on his frame all but unstoppable

I may be in the minority, but I'm more curious about the 55 rebound game... and Bill Russell no less. I've seen people go off and put up ridiculous point totals... but I can't fathom what 55 rebounds must look like. That's another level of bully-ball. And how do you only win by 3 points when you outrebound your opponent by 31? https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/196011240PHW.html

At around :45 sec in he is double teamed and does a fake pass to turn around jumper. Nice.

His fadeway jumpers are great.

Well, even without adjustment, it's still the closest thing to his 100, given that it's taken from his 2nd most prolific non-OT game. I don't know how many FG's are included in the full available footage, but I remember the original video including 20 or 21, which, as impessive as it looks, ironically, isn't far at all from his seasonal average of 19.5 FGM. So, it was more like watching full highlights from a "typically Wilt-like" 51-53 pt game, not a 73.
Interesting to see his defensive highlights here (4 blocks), which were excluded from the older footage.

A lot of people assume Wilt just used his physicality to dominate (a-la Shaq) rather than skill, but it couldn't be further from the truth.
Wilt himself admitted to holding himself back physically almost out of a fairness principle.
He could have been dunking on damn-near every possession if he wanted to, but dunking had the stigma of a dumb man's move and a brute's move back then.
After reading in 1968 that he was passing out to teammates due to being too old to score
A furious Wilt Chamberlain over the next three games averaged:
56.0 PPG (29.0 FGA)
32.7 RPG
4.0 APG
FG%: 79%
The FG% is insane and it's purely because Wilt was just physically manhandling everyone during those three games.

I also want to watch that game and, unlike nbastats' guy's estimation, my own guess is that this may very well also be the game with the most offensive (not defensive) rebounds grabbed by a player in a game. A number between 25 and 30 wouldn't really surprise me.
To be honest, what I want to see at this point is a few of his very high shot blocking games. A lot has been speculated by unofficial estimations, but I've yet to see any such extraordinarily prolific game (any of those multiple famous 12+ estimated blocked shot ones - and I don't mean just the famous 1968 Christmas show against the Suns, which seems like a definite outlier).

The NBA does have footage of Wilt blocking 12+ shots in games, especially during his 1965-1966 season.
I do know from asking that they do have footage of Wilt having 14 blocks against the Bullets on (Feb 25, 1966)
Along with his 16 block game against the Warriors on (Dec 27, 1965)

Dolph Schayes on 1966 Wilt Chamberlain:
“Wilt is playing the best basketball of his career.”
“Wilt is helping Hal and Chet get shots. He’s pitching out for the fast break. And he’s coming out for the high post, leaving the way open for drives by the little men.”
It is a myth that Wilt only embraced being a playmaker from 1967 onwards.
As in the 1965- 1966 season, he actually combined his scoring and playmaking in a very positive way.

Well, yeah, I know Wilt could combine high scoring and passing without having to go at negative extremes at all.
Btw, it's easy to miss that in the last 32 games of the 1962-63 season (not a season famous for his passing), he was actually averaging 43/24/5.

I don't know how much I'd spend to see Wilt in the game right now. It's difficult to imagine really.
Maybe a bigger/stronger Giannis with less ability to shoot? Not that Giannis is even the benchmark there.

Waiting for 1987_Lakers to come in here all upset, trying to convince everyone that Wilt was terrible. :lol

Why would I do that? I already stated Wilt is an all-time great player.

I haven't. My opinion on Wilt has been the same for years now.
But I was happy to educate you about him in previous threads.

I don't remember the exact count of FG that have now been released from that game but I think it ended up being closer to 25 now of the 29 FG's he actually made that game have now been shown by the NBA. The NBA has slowly trickled out more clips from that game over the past year. Since they don't have audio with it, and since we do have audio of the 100 point game but no video they both have low interest to casual basketball fans. You can't really do much with either one of those sources that is gratifying or entertaining enough to fans but maybe this with both is more compelling
