He might have secured second place.

Jokic has it wrapped up according to what Kblaze posted. As he should.

I think Giannis should win MVP but at worst he should finish 2nd. Embiid should probably finish 3rd.

Well the Jokic narrative is he has the worst teammates in the league and needs to carry them on his back every night.

Maybe if Joel played with Lopez and Portis while Giannis plays with the corpses of Deandre Jordan and Paul Millsap we can have this conversation.

Great block by Giannis at the end but it was actually Lopez's 11 straight points in the 3rd that probably won the Bucks this game.

That's a bunch of bullshit, Giannis has had guys on his team injured or out with covid the entire year. Also, Giannis's dominance at the end of the 3rd quarter and at the beginning of the 4th quarter kept the Bucks in the game. He's a better player than Embiid and he should definitely be higher in the MVP race.

Thread title indicated OP was talking about tonight.

But all teams have had injuries and Covid. Not sure where you have been but there has been a bit of turmoil with the Sixers roster this season if you haven't heard :oldlol:

The Bucks are the god damn defending champs and have the best roster in the league. A way better team overall than Philadelphia.

Wasn't Lopez all defence over Embiid a year or so ago?

I always thought it was Jokic vs Giannis.

Two best players in the league as well.

The same Lopez that has missed 67 games this season. They've been decimated with injuries and covid throughout the year and their roster is not clearly the best in the eastern conference, not at all. Definitely not with Lopez missing most of the season, Holiday and Middleton both being out 15 games, Connaughton breaking his finger and missing over a month, and their thin ass bench. Giannis has just clearly been better than Embiid, Jokic is the only one with any semblance of an argument.

Embiied would need to finish 1st or 2nd. If he is 4th that won't cut it.

part of the MVP is what his team does , and standings

Jokic isn't doing so well there.

I have Giannis as DPY as well as MVP. (tonight anchored it)

Once again, OP was talking about tonight and Lopez was the difference tonight.

If Giannis is your MVP pick? Good for you.

If you believe that the 76ers are a better team with a deeper and more stable roster, now and throughout the season, than the defending champions? Then you are delusional and look like a damn fool.
