Had a half court head start and his old ass didn't even get close to getting to the paint first.

Ehh, not really tbh. Either the ball got poked ahead of him or he massively carried, I cant quite tell from the angle which.

Either way, it gave him a chance to pick up speed without having to maintain a normal dribble. And then the lane was wide open.

This is like when a guy goes up for a dunk and he kinda bounces upward off a defender and gets extra air. It’s a flukey thing that looks cool but isnt something a lot of other guys couldnt do in that situation.
