Well deserved, and about time for Hardaway. Great player that would have made it in earlier if not for politics. :applause:

If Timmy finally got in, wonder if there is a shot for KJ down the line?

yeah of course. He was one of the best despite not having the numbers or all star appearances

He also has that strong international record. Remember he was 25 as a rookie in the NBA.

Tim probably waited an extra 10 years because of 4 words. 4 stupid words to be clear. Just saying.

Early 90s GSW have 5 Hall of Famers. That is CRAZY when you think about it. No NBA team between 1990-1994 has more Hall of Fame Players than them.

Run TMC
Sarunas
Chris Webber

Championship and contending teams didn't have that.

Tim belonged there awhile ago.

If Tim Hardaway makes the HOF then so should KJ. Infact KJ was better than Tim. What about Chris Webber?

Manu is a hall of famer just for pushing lebrons shit in on the international stage. his nba resume is just icing on lebrons pulverized anus

For sure, KJ was just the better, more impactful player. I personally don't think Tim should be in but the bball HOF is the most liberal to begin with but yeah, if you let Tim in, you almost have to let KJ in.

KJ is probably one of the most underrated players ever IMO. Youngsters have no idea how good he was. Took out Magic's Lakers as "the man" in 1990.

Webber got in last season.
KJ can make it, I don't see why not.
Timmy was better longer tho.
KJ better team success, Timmy better individual success.

Jeff Hornacek was no slouch either. But kids don't know how great PRIME Hornacek was.

KJ was 6'1", had one of the quickest first steps ever and could explode off the floor (see below). He was able to get to the rack at will during the paint packed, hand checking, hard foul era. Imagine how EASILY he would get to the rack in today's game?

I disagree.

KJ was just better. Here is his best 6 year stretch from (1989 - 1994):

20.4 PPG, 10.5 APG, 3.4 RPG, 1.7 SPG, 21.1 PER, 498 FG%. .837 FT%,

Now, Timbug might have a similar stretch numbers wise but my eye test old me KJ>Tim.

You’re tweaking.

Tim Hardaway was a bad boy too, man.

He had an 8 year span from 1990 to 1998 averaging 20 ppg and 9 apg? His best seasons 92 where he put up 23 and 10 and 93 where he put up 22 and 11. Stop sleeping.

Much lesser players have made the hall of fame.

He wasn't that great. And neither was Tim Hardaway. Ginobli should be borderline(beating Team USA as the best player being a big part of it). Everyone's going to be in the Hall at this rate. 2030 ISH Thread title: "Why do we respect MJ's rings if he had 8 HOF'ers"

For sure. I just love KJ. I still remember as a kid watching him destroy my Lakers.

Tim was a bad man for sure. I just have a soft spot for KJ.

Hornacek is one of the more underrated shooters ever.

.403 3PT%
.877 FT%

Not too many guys in the history of the game can match that combo.

I mean he put up similar numbers to J Kidd (as did Kevin Johnson). Obviously he wasn't the defender Kidd was, but saying he wasn't that great is silly.

I'm glad Chris Webber Got Into The HOF (u guys say last year). Him and Pau Gasol might be in the top 10 PFs.

Right, Hornacek was picked as a all star over teammate Kevin Johnson in 1992.

20.3 ppg on .415 fg% and .344 3pt%
8.6 apg
3.4 rpg
1.9 spg
0.1 bpg

Not all-NBA 3rd team.
Not all-NBA 2nd team.
But all-NBA FIRST team.

No, that's not a typo. That's how watered down perimeter talent in the 90s was.

They both were the same caliber of player tbh. Tim was doing it still in the late 90s in a super physical league. Both are very much underrated now a days. Rod Strickland, Jeff Hornacek and Terry Porter as well. Terrell Brandon too. Although his career was much shorter in terms of impact.
