Title.

I think he did. If you include 2009-2010, he had two MVPs, a 66 win season, a 61 win season, and a finals appearance. Had a couple of 2nd round exits as well. Missed the playoffs in '04 and '05, so everything listed was done in 5 seasons.

KG had '04 which included an MVP and a conference finals appearance. '08 brought him a championship in more of a shared role with Pierce and Allen. He also won the DPOY. Outside of that, he had some first-round exits in a tough western conference, and a couple of playoff misses.

For Dirk, he had the MVP and 67 win season in '07; '03 was a WCF appearance; in '06 he made the finals. Outside of that, he was usually losing in the 1st and 2nd rounds. I don't think he missed the playoffs once. Might have in '99-'00 if that's included.

When he brought his underdog team whose second option is big z to the finals at a young age of 22, even when they didn't have any business to be there. I think it's fair to call it commendable.
