Some of the reasons listed.
- nba's all time leading scorer (legoat will break this next season)
- record 19 all-star appearances (legoat will tie this next season)
- record most all nba teams (already broken by legoat)
- unmatched combination of peak and longevity (lebron is at minimum his equal here and still going)
I had to laugh a little.

Well the 0.5% of people who have Kareem as GOAT might all change to Bronie when he passes up Kareem in career points.

Since Kareem was acknowledged as GOAT because he was the all-time leading scorer while being predominantly recognized for his scoring, then LeBron being the all-time leading scorer while being predominantly acknowledged for his passing will not only make him GOAT, but Level 9 Super Saiyan GOAT!

Kareem and Lebron needed juggernaut elite-scorers at sidekick and simply needed the most help ever
They're #1 and #2 at needing the most help
Kareem was carried for literally half of his rings, while Lebron never defeated maximum defensive attention (never carried scoring load in Finals) - that's how great his help was..
Lebron needed the most help ever - specifically, he's the only guy that had sidekicks outplay league MVP's and FMVP's
