been watching some spring training and keep seeing these routine pop ups flying out of the park. the owners swap in juiced and dead balls depending on the timing of collective bargaining agreements. now that they just got a deal done they want ratings to be their top priority again.

just now the reds got back to back soft ass homeruns. Bryce harper is launching every breaking ball he sees. the blue jays can't stop hitting homeruns and st Louis had 29 runs the other day. yesterday a few teams over 10.

I'm not opposed to this obviously. it's gonna drive up my cards and I never buy pitchers.

if any of you guys wanna invest nows the time. buy some trout/ohtani/judge/guerrero cards

look at this dumb shit lol

While I prefer more homeruns in baseball, the problem I have is what the OP points out, that these homeruns look like pop fly's. Because none of these players are on the juice, you hardly ever see the no doubters or the upper deck jobs anymore. There are a few exceptions here or there, but I miss the Bonds homeruns or the McGwires.

One of my favorite homeruns of all time:

Yeah Griffey was the exception cause his body generated more torque and generated a longer, faster down swing from his regular batting stance. Truly a marvel.
