Has his Memphis squad second place in the West and is 20-2 without his best player. Dillon Brooks, who was largely considered Memphis' second best player, has also only played in 29 games.

I don't think anyone was expecting this type of season from Memphis. I'd give him strong consideration for coach of the year.

More injuries they have, better they play. Hard to understand. They don't shoot 3's well. They are the best rebounding team, they don't turn the ball over much, high assist and fta numbers. Will these translate into playoffs? I don't think so but it will still be interesting to see them especially if Ja becomes healthy.
