9: Spurs 32-45
10: Lakers 31-46

The Lakers are a game behind the Spurs, the H2H is tied (the Lakers really ****ed themselves by sitting LeBron at SA a month ago. They would be tied right now with the h2h if they hadn't. Spurs really took on momentum after).

They could reasonably end up tied, however.

What would be the decider in such instance?

Spurs:

vs Blazers W
@ Denver L
@ Minnesota L
vs GS W
@ Dallas L (hopefully the Mavs have something to play for)

34-48

Lakers:

vs Denver W (could be an L)
@ Phoenix L
@ GS W
vs OKC W
@ Denver L (could be a W)

34-48

If I recall correctly, a situation where the team record is tied with the same record head-to-head, the next measurement is wins versus your division. At least that's how it used to be. I will leave it to you to verify if that is still the case and who has the best percentage against their division.

A.) there won't be a tie, but
B.) conference record decides it. Spurs win.

Spurs aren't a bad team, they lose a lot of close games. They're young and getting better as the season progresses. Look at their average margin of victory. -.1 That's 18th in the league.

Lakers are a bad team. They're old and flawed. Avg margin of victory -3.1 That's 23rd in the league.

All that and no draft pick coming to them. God bless

Yup, Spurs got the H2H cause of the conference W/L.

This is bad for the Lakers.

They're nearly done.

They need to win the last game at Denver as well.

Who cares? Lakers are finished. The season ended last night.
