Lot easier when kawhi is not around. His record vs kawhi in the regular season is 1-6

whats the individual matchup say though

might as well include kawhi, he always dumped it on him.

Lukas way more alpha this year than past years. he always shy'd away from lebron before this season and now he's making lebron switch onto him so he can take him 1 on 1

people forget how young he is.

peak kawhi is obviously gonna have an edge over a 20/21 year old lol

Hard to argue this.

My top 2 are Joker and Luka.

Both guys carrying subpar casts to the same record as Bucks, missed less games than giannis and embiid.

Didn't Luka average 35ppg last playoff series against Kawhitter?
And took him to 7 games with a team of mainly nobodies?

Give them even teams and Luka beats Kawhi in 5

Give Luka a slightly worse team and he still wins in 6

Against philly 2 weeks ago doncic went 5-20 and they lost.

There 0-3 vs the Suns.

Just realized they got swept by the wizards. :lol

Doncic should be in the top 5 but won't win. Coming into the season fat isn't a good look.

Luka definitely plays up to the competition. He has that MJ/Kobe mentality.

there's no real mvp candidate on Phoenix. that's just an all time great all around team on pace for like 67 wins.

and thanks for pointing out his one bad mvp showdown with embiid. he's only flopped 10+ times himself and took himself out of a guaranteed first award.

and great teams lose to bottom feeders all the time. you let your guard down

While that's true I how many of the teams he listed actually have MVP candidates? Is LeBron a candidate?

At this point I don't think Ja or Curry are candidates. Curry hit a slump in January and the Grizzlies are 18-2 without Morant. GS did beat Dallas by 38.

KD has missed too many games to be a candidate but did beat Dallas when both were playing.

DeRozan probably won't be top 5 and the bulls have struggled with injuries all year. They lost to Chicago so they split with both the bulls and nets.

Booker is currently 5th on the MVP ladder

Luka should definitely get more rep. KIA's MVP ladder doesn't even have him top 5 lol :confusedshrug: The MVP "criteria" has been inconsistent for a while now.

Joker averaged 31 points and 16 reb. against Dallas, while Luka averaged 22 with 11 reb. Luka didn't destroy anyone. All that proves is he has a better team than Denver, when the Nuggets are missing Murray and Porter.

well luka averaged like 13 assists vs jokics 5 a game and last game only having 3 plus the 2 Ls jokic took and Lukas only loss was near the start of the season

but let's disregard that

and how exactly is Dallas a better team. it's all role players after him lol..

Brunson was his 2nd best player 90% of the season

I would expect him to finish 4th or 5th. Depends on where Tatum finishes.
