If the conference record wouldn't be the decider, the Lakers should actually be the odds-on favorite for #10.

As it stands, they gotta get a +3 from the remaining 4 games.

The Lakers could beat @ GS / vs OKC / @ Denver, and SAS could lose all 4 @ Denver / @ Minnesota / vs GSW / @ Dallas.

New low for Lebron stans. On their hands and knees to the 33-45 Spurs for the 10th seed.

To be fair, nobody ever accused the Bronies of having high standards.

If the Lakers played the 2 worse teams in the NBA 2 times a piece, they wouldn't win 4 games straight.

Regardless, they can't beat the SUNS in a 7 game series. Have absoutely no shot, the young Spurs, Pelicans or Clippers would make a SUNS series more interesting.

The Lakers has the worst defense of any NBA team I've ever seen. I honestly think if you took the 12 best players from the teams in the final 4, they could drop 80-90 points on the Lakers. Could they stop the Lakers from scoring? NO, but they'd drop 80

Yea for sure... I'd say the Lakers still have like a 10-20% chance. Thing is it will also be tough because a lot of the playoff teams will have nothing to play for in those final 2-3 games so the Spurs should be able to get a win or two.

To see the Lakers--this great franchise--so low as to have to basically pray to make the play-in (which is a bullshit concept)...it's just sad. :facepalm
