Clippers have won their last two games by a combined 50+ points. Tonight they blew out the Pelicans start to finish after the Pelicans embarrassed a shorthanded Clips team 3x this year. They seem to be finding their shot from deep from the role players.
What’s scary is a lot of guys like Reggie Jackson are still shooting poorly. Covington and Batum look DPOY worthy though, both were said to be “washed” when they got to the Clippers.
If Norman Powell comes back next game and gets a few games before the playoffs, that gives them another ball handler and 20 ish ppg scorer. The Clippers match up better with Phoenix than most teams.
Should Phoenix be a little bit worried, even without Kawhi? I think Kawhi probably comes back in the playoffs if they can drag the series out vs Phoenix.
