View Full Version : Is Lebron even good when you take away the stiff arm?

Most of Lebron's drives involve him pushing people away with his left arm. Somehow the rules always seem to cater towards his game. But think about it. Lebron doesn't have any elite moves. He gets away with the stiff arm play.

He sucks as a rebounder. (for his size)

He sucks as a 3 point shooter.

He sucks at free throws.

He plays no defense.

He has no moves.

He cannot post up.

He is a turnover machine.

He flops.

Think about it. He's Russell Westbrook with more size and uses his arms. All he has is that stiff arm play. Imagine if he got called for an extra 4 to 6 fouls every game.

Always said he was just a big Russell Westbrook...

Who wields more power off court

Right. League changes rules for him.

He's not a terrible 3PT shooter, he's kind of mediocre from 3 but at least it keeps the defenses honest, unlike Russ. He definitely is a taller version of Russ in most aspects of the game though.

Just wait until next season - he will have all the above deficiencies plus start pump faking like crazy (a la Kobe his last couple years). Dude is big and strong, but not even top 100 all-time from a pure skills perspective. He's not great at any one area other than bully ball, spin move stiff arm. Most of the best players are more pure skilled than he is.

Ugly game. Gets away with bullying and stiffarming. He doesnt have a fluid game.

My opinion about Lebron is the same as it was the first time I saw him.

He used to be a high energy, do it all, kind of player, that lacked the skills to be a top 10 GOAT talent.

The next evolution of Scottie Pippen.

pretty much. also travels A LOT and never gets called for it.

complete garbage skills, relies on bully ball for his "go to" move.

Top 2 player of all time. The rest of the league must really be trash if this guy is top 2 all time.

If i'm completely honest

Lebron has no basketball skills

Best assets: Flopping, crying to ref, and bricking
