Embiid or Giannis?

I got Embiid for the scoring title and Giannis for league MVP (or Joker).

I mean, with Embiid in the lead @ 30.4 with 3 games left, and with Leliminated being out (and needing to play 2 more games to even be eligible) it's a 2 horse race at this point, right?

Thoughts?

Assuming LeBron wisely sits out for the rest of the season, I have Embiid winning it. His scoring outbursts seem much more sustainable than Giannis's.

The Greek Freak needs to conserve himself before the playoffs given his knee ailments, which seem to have flared up after blowing his load with those back-to-back 40-pointers. Plus, he has tougher defensive opponents to play the rest of the way than the Sixers do.

I think it's too late for Embiid to overtake Giannis and Jokic in the MVP race, but the scoring title is his to lose.

Since LeBron has a history of being afraid to compete, I'm going to say he's not going to try and win it for fear of failing. He's going to blame his injuries as the reason he can't compete. I hope he tries though, it would be hellafun to watch those 3 go at it.

I expect Embiid to score 60 against the Pistons.

Pacers will accept the Westbrook trade, and Russell will have his most statistically incredible season yet:

33 PPG
33 %FG
33 W - 49 L

The famous 33-33-33 2023 season for Westbrick.

I doubt the Pacers are doing that one since they have Haliburton, who's going to be a star and is one of the better playmakers in the league at 22.

Maybe the Sacramento Kings are dumb enough to trade Barnes and Fox for Russ? A Sabonis-Westbrook reunion?

It's effectively Embiid's now. LeBron is disqualified, and Giannis would need to score at a historical disparity—47 points above Embiid's current average, assuming the latter doesn't bump it up further—in the regular-season finale to overtake the bigman.

He's all but guaranteed to become the first Center since Moses Malone in 1982 to average 30-plus PPG.
