As seem with the Bucks last year with Middleton in the Nets series, a secondary closer seems to be one of the most important pieces in a playoff run. With the playoffs coming up soon, who is your team's secondary closer? If you don't have one, do you think you can go far in the playoffs without one?

I think for secondary closers you have 3 main options that stand above the rest: Kyrie, Middleton, and Booker. I'd probably go with Kyrie if we're strictly talking about closing out the game in the waning minutes.

I would agree whoever you consider phx's secondary closer or kyrie are the best. I'm still going give harden a chance, he had a chance last year too but wasnt healthy.

Im so nba'd out

Why do you think the Warriors was so amazing. KD was an amazing secondary closer. He was like a secondary weapon in a video game. you know like when you run out of bullets in ur main gun and switch to your pistol? KD was an amazing pistol....best in the game for when you run out of steph bullets.

Maybe kyrie can get the best out of KD too and turn him into a champ again. KD is the real pistol pete.... Goat 2nd option

KD was the top scorer on the warriors. Beta curry naturally fell into his submissive 2nd option form

Harden's problem is he closes the game for the other team

Kyrie is the best 2nd option in crunch time. He would be #1 almost anywhere else.

KD was the #1 option in crunch time in GS. They changed their offense to where they would ISO for KD in big moments, and if the defense tried to double KD, they'd find a way to get an open 3 for Klay or Steph, which is why that team was so unstoppable.

Yes, it is possible to win a chip with your #2 guy averaging only 15.9 in the playoffs. Far from everyone can do this though.
