This is just a theoretical question I was wondering about.
Say youve got a super high IQ player who is under contract to play for one team, is there any rule that prohibits him from sitting on the bench as an assistant with another team if he’s not in the post season as a player? Im honestly curious if there is contract language that prohibits this or if it’s technically not actionable by the league.
Also, assistant coaches get a ring when the team wins a chip right?
