lol @ pretending Kobe didn't tear his achilles. And played in the postseason. Then she compares the 2016 team to this one. What in the actual ****?

she speaking fax. i've noticed all these oldtimers like to lie to prop up their eras best player. i rem ron artest claiming jordone dropped 40 on him in a game artest was dnp for. players acting like fans blinded by nostalgia is so embarrassing.

Its been known LeESPN hated Kobe because of that Colorado incident.

Kobe on ESPN ranking him 40th best player: "I've known for a long time that they're a bunch of idiots."

women in the media have always hated kobe and loved lebron. they take it more personal than nick Wright. they've always thought of him as a rapist and bad husband. even with almost 20 years of marriage to the same woman and giving her 2 more kids and being a great dad. and knowing the woman that he "raped" just had a bad experience she signed up for and wanted money for her pulverized anus

and lol@saying kobes leadership style couldn't get the Lakers a playoff win in 2013 when he didn't even play cause of a torn Achilles or his lack of wins in post Achilles rupture seasons where he didn't even play 90% of the year or was in a retirement tour on one leg

it's sad that Matt barnes wouldn't call her out for that

Slandering?
Wasn't Kobe 12th on ESPN's top 100 players of all time list in 2018 and then suddenly 9th on their list in 2020? Even though he hasn't played since 2016.

she was 100 on that

where was kobe's leadership in 2013?

he was much worse in the lottery in a MUCH SOFTER/weaker league.

the Lakers slowly unraveled with the injuries...

the 2013 Lakers were always dog poop and would have been the 10th seed without ref intervention.

It's different people making these lists. ESPN isn't one person.

Kobe led his team to the Playoffs after a horrible start to the season due to all the injuries (top 5 record post-ASB w/ 20 - 8 record in their last 28 games). Bran came up short.

The league was not weaker in '13. A healthy 2013 Lakers squad would be a title contender right now, I'd also take Heat/Spurs over any team in the league.

'13 Lakers needed 45 wins to make the Playoffs. Lakers this season needed like 36-38 to get to the Play-In and make the Playoffs, and the West has less depth now than it did then. The ****ing Spurs were tanking all year and kicked the Lakers out of the Play-In :facepalm .

Western Conference was insanely loaded in 2013. Clippers-Grizzlies was the 4-5 match-up and both teams won 56 games.

The 2013 Lakers would get slaughtered. The current three-point heavy style would trash their defense with the problem they had back then (a bunch of past prime stats that didn't mesh well) exacerbated by their complete unfamiliarity with modern offense. Nash was the only great 3 point shooter in the starting five and by then he was a shell of himself just a roleplayer at best. Bryant would have had to average 40 at an efficiency he has never been close to to get that team through the West.

2013 was actually one kobes greatest individual seasons. he was amazing. he took on point guard duties for a month. hit 10 game winners. hit curry logo threes all year. it was incredible. so many poster dunks. then the Achilles rupture in a pivotal win over the warriors
