At their peak? Kawhi.

Kawhi is pretty much Havlicek and bill russell molded into 1 guy around 2013-16

Then 2017-present he turns into the greatest offensive player of all time while still having elite man to man defense

Hondo easily

Hondo is way more accomplished, Leonard had a higher "ceiling" but leaving Toronto has really hurt his legacy in my eyes.

Titles - 8 > 2
All-NBA 1st - 4 > 3
All-Star - 13 > 5
Defensive 1st 5 > 3
Points - 25K > 11K

According to some of the idiotic "logic" on this forum, John "8/8 finals" Havlicek is the greatest player of all time. :oldlol:

very few players were as good as peak Kawhi Leonard, and Hondo is not one of them.

Did he win FMVP for those 8 finals? No? He only won 1? And someone else was the FMVP for the other 7? And Bill Russel was the alpha on the team, not Havlicek?

Well, then you don't even come close to understanding logic, and you're the idiot.

Nice try, attempting to create a straw man, GoatTits.

Kawhi is way better. But almost every NBA player today better than Havlicek ever was.
Havlicek is way greater than Kawhi though.

A jordon extremist alt talking about core defender Bill Russell being the alpha on the team?
Where have I seen that before?

Nobody is beating kawhi leonard if load management is such a big factor in this comparison.

Lol, you just can't help showing off your low IQ.

The Celtics were Russell's team. You can't even argue otherwise.

Here's a fun fact for you, since you know so little about basketball: The FMVP trophy is named the "Bill Russell Trophy."

You do realize FMVP didn't exist until 1969, so nobody won FMVP on any of those Russell Celtics teams.

Havlicek was a workhorse, contrary to Kawhi.

However, they're not on the same level. It's like comparing Embiid with say, Bam or Ayton.

Nah, I agree Kawhi's better but they're definitely closer than your example. Havlicek was averaging 29/9/8 at his peak and had several playoff series averaging 27+ ppg, including multiple Finals. He was a legitimate superstar, Bam & Ayton are not.

That number looks good but he was playing 45+ minutes. And Superstar in the weak 70s is not saying much. I thought I was being kind comparing him to Bam and Ayton when his level was actually below that.

Exactly. So because Havlicek's rings are legit superstar rings and on top of that he won not one but two rings without Bill Russell, that means that his 8/8 finals record is legit, which according to the "logic" on this forum makes Havlicek the GOAT.
