Liberal elites wish they could do this to Americans
Look at the liberal mouthpieces on how the report this versus the outlets for the common sense people of America
Fox News
"Shanghai residents recorded screaming from apartments after seven days of lockdown"
Fortune
"Shanghais lockdown resembles a horror movie as residents scream out from high-rise apartments"
Breitbart
"Videos: Shanghai Residents Trapped in Lockdown Scream from Their Windows, Fight over Limited Food"
Daily Beast
"Chilling Vids Show Locked-Down Shanghai Residents Screaming From Their Windows"
Vs
CNN
"Pressure builds as Shanghai, a city of 25 million, remains locked inside"
MSNBC
Not talking about it at all :oldlol:
New York Times
We cannot let our guard down, a top Chinese health official tells people under lockdown.
LA Times
Not talking about it :lol
Thankfully China has Twitter and Facebook on their side to censor too much information getting out. It's kinda funny, when Twitter and Facebook first started out they were very uncomfortable about censoring other people at China's request. Then they got together with their liberal white elite friends and came to the brilliant conclusion, "Hey guys! This is a great idea. We can do this ourselves in America too!"

LDD...How is that CNN headline or whatever it is you pulled up glossing over the issue? Or whatever you assume is going on? I'm not a CNN guy but even the video in question shows CNN footage. Don't let the foaming at the mouth outrage overcome common sense.

That's the whole reason I posted my response. The CNN part has a guy calmly pointing out the reason he can't leave his living quarters. They appear only concerned with the well being of their reporter. Nothing about the craziness that's going on all around him. While the other news sources are pointing out the pure insanity of people losing their minds and armies of men in white suits taking over the city

Shanghai isn't doing real lockdown.
So for exactly 1 month we will shut down pharmacies, nursing homes, elderly care facilities, veterinarians, airplanes, airports, buses, dentists, hospitals, contact tracers, administrators, urgent care centers, doctor offices, cancer screenings, roads, everyone in the energy sector, fire dept, ambulances, plumbing, waste disposal, public transportation, dept of defense, police, CIA, FBI, NSA, DEA, ATF, ICE, grocery stores, agriculture, suppliers, transporters, distributors, warehouses, IT, mfg of medical supplies, medical supply stores, banks, nuclear facilities, Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, ... you serious Clark?
Oh, and how will you enforce stopping 330 million people from interacting with each other? Will there be drones outside of everyone's house making sure they don't visit their neighbor or heaven forbid help their grandma around the house? Remember, the contact tracers think roughly 75% of transmission occurs within homes.
