The governor was just ousted because of years of sexually harassing women. Crime is out of control in the cities. Businesses and people fleeing the state. New York just ranked as one of the worst states on their response to Covid.



ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin was arrested Tuesday in a federal corruption investigation, creating a political crisis for Gov. Kathy Hochul seven months after she selected Benjamin as a partner to make a fresh start in an office already rocked by scandal.

Benjamin, a Democrat, was accused in an indictment of participating in a scheme to obtain campaign contributions from a real estate developer in exchange for BenjaminÂ’s agreement to use his influence as a state senator to get a $50,000 grant of state funds for a nonprofit organization the developer controlled.

Meanwhile Florida was just ranked as the top state on how they handled Covid. Florida somehow is now ranked as a top 5 state in K-12 scholastic achievement while spending a fraction per student compared to NY and California. I'm guessing this has a lot do with their school voucher program. Honestly I've been to Florida, the people over there don't seem too bright and they have a high minority population. How in the hell are they squeezing more performance out of their youth than New York and California?

Should the people in New York beg Ron DeSantis to take over their state and show them how a state government should be run?
