Obviously, a huge factor will be the roleplayers that surround the top players and round out the rotation. However, let's assume the team is healthy; how good is this starting 5? Are Rozier and Hayward good fits? How does that lineup look to you?

PG: Rozier
SG: Bradley
SF: Hayward
PF: LeBron
C: Davis

hayward rozier and davis all cant shoot good enough to win a championship....its just putting lipstick on a pig at this point. Lakers should just blow it up and trade all 3 of them for draft picks.....send us AD for tobias + maxey :D

Why would the Hornets do this? 'Splain yourself.

Also if Lakers didn't even want a 3rd year ALLEGEDLY, why take 2 more years of Hayward, and 5 of Rozier?

IF the incoming players bend the knee and submit themselves to the will of LeAllah (PBUH), it can be a title team.

It’s a bad premise to assume health. The fit is excellent but it’s almost a guarantee hayward will miss significant time every year

They have to pay lamelo, bridges, and pj very soon so want to get rid of long term money. Westbrook is an awful contract but an expiring

By the time they gotta get paid, the cap hike will kick in.

I don't disagree changes should happen, but this is not it for the Hornets perspective.

Trade only makes sense for Charlotte if they just hate Hayward's contract. But it's not like Westbrook has a good contract. Letting Rozier go is one of the biggest mistakes of the Ainge era. Charlotte isn't going to repeat it just to get rid of Hayward. As a scoring pg he works well with Ball. Trade him and son we are talking about how Ball needs help.

Westbrook doesn't have that kinda value anymore, in fact his value is negative at this point because of his awful contract

The trade was suggested because Westbrook is expiring next season. Some teams want to get rid of certain contracts; trading for Westbrook is a solution to that. In this case, Charlotte has to pay its young guys in the near future. Westbrook's expiring 47m (or so) gives them an opportunity to shed major contracts.

Teams want that when major superstars are free agents. Ain’t sh!t up for grabs on that timeline.

No, it's about paying the young guys in the future. It also gives them cap space to make FA moves as well.

Rozier and Hayward are good players, but they only won 43 games this season. You have to question the value they're getting form Hayward's 30m and Rozier's 24m or so.

Yeah...and Westbrook is playing for a starting NBA job and contract next season.

Which is again...why we don't give MVP's to guys with "advanced stats" over title contenders.

Healthy?
As good as they would've been had they been healthy this season, and the one 2019-20 season they have been healthy: 55-60 win team.
The problem is that they haven't been healthy because they've been asking a 37 year-old with most NBA mileage in history by far to carry most of their load, and their second best player is made out of glass.
