Mid 3Q: Nets up 17.

Caris LeVert needs to go ahead and do something. He's 2 for 10 and the Cavs have limited scoring options.

Update: And now with 5:08 left in third, Cavs only down 14.

Kyrie is so insane...dude is so small for an NBA player yet he keeps stringing these absurdly efficient games over the last two months.

10-10 this game and earlier he had a 15-19, 15-20, and 20-31 shooting performances...just unreal. I legit think he'd be better than Kobe if he was 6'6 and athletic.

No matter who wins, Cavs are easily and by a country mile, the people's winner in this game.

Nets are not likeable, they're a team built to try to copy Warriors, but its obvious that they're not organic.

Cavs on the other hand are a fun and organic group of misfits. I'd be joyed to be a Cavs fan with this group.

The fact that Kyrie is fasting during a massively successful game for himself really doesn't surprise me.

If you're fasting your body thinks you're starving which means your senses need to be sharper overall in order to secure your next food source and live.

In his case it manifested with him hitting damn near every shot and dropping dimes all over the court.

For the kids here Hakeem used to fast for Ramadan as well so what Kyrie is doing is nothing new and intermitten fasting has very helpful benefits to your body once it becomes adapted to fasting and you can feel a great burst of energy. It's given me a second prime even in my older age I feel as spry as I did during my college football days.

Look up the benefits to intermitten fasting.

The fasting is very likely to have contributed to him being so focused. Your instinct might say otherwise, but... see my above post.

I realize that but its impressive to be able to play a full game endurance wise with no food in you. Players rarely starve themselves for games and if it was that beneficial why wouldn't they all?

Because it's definitely not considered normal, and that aside...

I also don't think it's sustainable over a week + an entire series. But one game? Yeah. I think so. For sure.

He's not fasting is he?

He's just eating once a day, which is intermittent fasting.

The important thing is that if you do this, you need to be on Keto, so that your body can use fat for fuel. If you're not on ketosis, then your body will lack the carbs.

Also, I've fasted 52 hours and the first 24 hours was not hard at all, could easily do all the usual cardio.

If he’s IF that’s a hell of a lot easier to function on than a complete fast.

I’ve done IF on and off for the past few years… I even tried omad. Packing all your daily calories into one meal is tough. A 6 hour eating window isn’t that hard and it gets easier but it’s not as fun as eating whenever you want, either.

90sgoat
