Lol at Curry pretty much implying he would trade his 2017 and 2018 chips in order to win in 2016.

Nothing that exciting.
Mark Jackson gave him a ton of confidence and helped him grow and helped him get to where he is. According to Mark Jackson, the Warriors had discussed trading him instead of Monta Ellis and Jackson backed Curry. The Ellis trade WAS for Curry instead but the Milwaukee doctors wouldn't sign off on Curry's ankles so they took Ellis instead.
He says he wouldn't trade the 2017 and 2018 rings for the 2016 ring but his body language and tone of voice says otherwise and he only said it to appease Draymond.
He considers LeBron arguably the GOAT and is very humbled that LeBron wants to play with him but he doesn't want to fantasize about such things and lose sight of where he's at right now and where he came from/who he grew up with (an allusion to Klay & Draymond). Still has a signed LeBron jersey on his wall in his parents house.
Talks some random shit about his relationship with his wife nobody cares about.

I honestly wonder if they could do it all over again, if the Warriors Big 3 would want to sign KD again. I'm assuming even with the 2 titles Durant wouldn't sign there again considering how unhappy he seemed there, how little credit he got for winning those titles, and the fact he essentially turned down an opportunity to be on the title favorite for another 5 years instead of starting over in Brooklyn.
Curry, Klay & Dray are more difficult to assess. They get claim to being on the greatest team ever and two additional titles, but I can't tell how much those titles mean to them compared to KD. Klay & Dray probably don't change things, those 2 extra titles guarantee them historical significance and really boost their HOF credentials. Curry though is another story. My guess is for a player of his stature, having zero FMVP's stings, as that narrative got so much play after Durant joined and started winning them over him.

Wonder if that boosts Mark Jackson's stock as a head coach this offseason. Having Steph sign off on you seems like it would be high praise.

Imagine they didn't get KD...
Cavaliers 3 peat through 2018... how different would LeBron's legacy be?
6x Champ... 6x Finals MVP... 4 MVPs... all time scoring leader.
LMAO.
Then again, KD probably never goes to GSW if LeBron doesn't go to Miami.
What a deadly web we weave.

Listening on spotify now and they just dropped a bombshell early in the interview.
Some may remember Monta Ellis being traded to the Bucks for Bogut. Apparently the Bucks wanted Steph but the Bucks doctor wouldn't clear Steph because of his ankle problems so they took Ellis instead. Wow

This might be true, but at the same time Steph said Mark Jackson was the one who told him it was supposed to be him who was traded and both Steph and Draymond said in another point of the interview that Mark Jackson had a tendency to lie about things in order to fire up the team.

That's the thing, I legitimately believe those future Cavs/Warriors matchups would've been tossups. LeBron & Kyrie had the series of their lives, Curry had the worst of his, and the Cavs BARELY eeked out a 7 game win where they needed to come back from 3-1. The Warriors were actually deemed the title favorites for 2017 even before KD signed there.
