Its like people know that prior his back injury in 1994 Barkley had for years been widely considered the best player in the world not named Michael Jordan.

He was MVP in 90 and 93 and went to the finals his first year with a decent team... on the back of a 43pt triple double in game 5 of the WCF and a 44 & 24 in game 7.

Don't judge him by what he did from 94 onwards. His back was done by then.

The disparity between the two of them in playoff performance is enormous, Barkley actually played very well on a consistent basis in the playoffs while Embiid turns into the Harden of big men come playoff time.

I feel like if he was taking dumbass 3's back in the 90's it's more likely he'd be taking more of them now. Even someone who can't shoot at all like Giannis can be guilty of this.
