This happened during the offseason of a year where the Warriors didn't make the playoffs.

Let's call a spade a spade: you backed yourself into a corner by creating an entire set of ranking criteria last offseason solely to justify not having Lebron in the top 10...and then realized you couldn't justify leaving Curry off based on your own new system.

You're forgetting that the 04' Pistons and 11' Mavs won the Finals based on superior brand of ball, not talent... The Spurs, Warriors and 90's Bulls also developed the best brand of ball in the league.. So teams win organically by developing the best brand of ball, which means that Lebron never learned how to win (brand, chemistry, teammate fits) and only learned how to team-hop (talent-based winning.. all-star team strategy).

Those criteria were made with Curry in mind - Curry's ability to win organically or carry the scoring load are real facts, not opinion

Curry made me smarter about my criteria.



* knowing how to win (brand of ball... organic)

* being able to defeat maximum defensive attention (carry scoring load in playoffs and Finals of title run).. requires elite jumpshooting skill


^^^ these are primary tenets of basketball - if you can't do them then you're nowhere near goat and below everyone that can do these things
