it's almost as if having a mvp hall of fame point guard is very valuable

ask bill russell when bob cousy fell into his lap

And also exactly what the Nets need right now.

Maxey and Harris have both been awesome so far, Harden is doing a great job facilitating that offense. He's actually a 3rd option if you weigh the FGA/FTA stuff but hasn't been that efficient on 2s. 30 assists to 9 TOs is a great ratio for Harden, he used to average like 5 turnovers a game. He's turning into a real point guard.

James was affected by the officiating changes ALOT. Because his game was so reliant on dishonest advantage exploiting referee visual angle limitations.

James is like the kid who figured out how to cheat on standardized tests, and wound up at Harvard faking it while making it.

But that gravy train is MF over.

But yes, to OP’s point, sixers can play several different ways and are not as limited as Brooklyn.

The Sixers are looking good because the guy that brings the ball up (the ball-dominator) is 4th option, as he should be like Paxson or Derek Fisher

Bringing the ball up and initiating offense is a role player function and teams that treated it this way won the most rings by far (teams that minimized ball-dominance and didn't have traditional PG).. Kareem's Lakers are the exception but Kareem/Worthy/Scott usually scored more than Magic.

He's the point guard and leading playmaker though. Huge reason why they have a 128 offensive rating in the playoffs

When he was scoring 40-pts on a regular basis, people asking for Playoff wins.
Now he helps Sixers dominate the Playoffs, people asking him to score a ton.
Hmm... What am I missing here?

Cooked

Peak Harden/Embiid would have ate the league alive. Easy title.

If Philly can beat Milwaukee it’ll all be worth it for me.
