With the advanced switching defense MJ would be reduced to a poor man’s Allen Iverson :biggums:

MJ's Bulls would lock these fools down. It would be a gentleman's sweep or clean sweep.

the exact same thing they're doing to kd and it would work. these aren't your dad's c's where mj is being defended 1v1 by larry bird, danny ainge and other unathetic white american players that don't currently exist in today's nba.

Nothing. But they would break Lebron like the 2008, 2010 Celtics did even when Lebron had HCA. Lebron lost with HCA 3 years in a row and won bronze medal twice. MJ never won bronze medal and only gold and never lost with HCA. Prove me wrong!

It would be a duel for sure

Tatum would be the 2nd best player in the 90s behind Jordan

Bulls have the best big man in Rodman but celtics have a better big man unit

Scottie pippen is a far better all around player then jaylen brown though

We have to see this celtics team overcome adversity first.

Right now I say bulls in 6

No duel at all. MJ's Bulls swept Shaq and Shaq has 4 rings and this when Shaq had a loaded team. This Celtics would be like the 1996 Heat team for the Bulls who had 2 hall of famers.

You Lebronites are hilarious.

The damage control is so bad you have to resort to Durant & Kyrie's poor showings just to slander MJ.

Like couldn't you use your hero's performances this playo... Oh sh!t I'm sorry.

He was there when they lost by 38 in game 1. He knew what was coming so he bailed out.

MJ would still beat their ass. Y'all acting like the Knicks weren't doing this shit to Jordan

https://youtu.be/5K-qGWkiKvQ

And there was no 3 second rule on defense back then, they could just pack the paint against MJ. He still won. :pimp:

?

Pippen saved him when they won by 20 points at home in Game 3?

MJ in the 4 straight wins averaged 33/7/9/2/2. That's with the Knicks putting 2-3 guys on him and packing the paint on every possession. Nice try though.

Shot 40%. Only great game he had was in game 4, was shit the rest of the series.

It was Pippen who closed out the knicks in game 6.

That's just false.

FG% isn't the only thing that matters here

36/9 2 stls in Game 2
22/8/11/2/2 in Game 3
54/6/2/2/1 Game 4
29/10/14/2/1 Game 5
25/2/9/3/1 in Game 6

Jordan averaged ~10 more points than Pippen, had 3 less rebounds, almost twice the assists with 10 less TOs and more steals & blocks.

Keep trying to rewrite history though. He was significantly better than anyone in that series, and he was going up against the best defense in the league that was throwing everything at him. Didn't matter.

29/10/14/2/1 Game 5
25/2/9/3/1 in Game 6

Game 1: 10 of 27 shooting
game 2: 12 of 32 shooting
game 3: 3 of 18
game 5: 11 of 24
game 6: 8 of 24 (Outscored by Pippen in the 2nd half)

MJ was way below average for his standards, but that is expected since he was going up against a historic defense. Keep trying to rewrite history though.

He still had a 24.4 GameScore (Pippen 15.7) and was much better than anyone in the series. Let's just look at the FG% and not look at his defense or his playmaking (7 apg to 2.3 TOV) against the double/triple teams. Clown.

Most of the all time great teams of the pass would not be great teams in today's NBA.

If you can only get up 90 points a game, that doesn't cut it anymore.

Let's ignore all the rule changes that opened up the paint for the modern NBA superstars.. There were great shooters in Jordan's era too you know. Bulls had a few guys who could knock down the 3.

Didn't Shawn Kemp also have a higher gamescore than MJ in the '96 Finals? Clown.

Not a few. Just 1 token white guy that shot 2-3 threes a game. Doesn't cut it.

They had multiple guys. Kukoc was a 3PT shooter too. Pippen took 4 threes a game and was mediocre at them in '98 but you can't compare the '98 Bulls to the 60s Celtics teams and tell me they had no spacing.

Calling Westbrook level 3 point shooting a "3 point shooter" does not mean you have "shooters".

No he wasn't. His 3pt% for his career is like 33%.

No he wasn't. His 3pt% for his career is like 33%.

33.5% career 3PT shooting isn't great but he had some decent seasons shooting the 3 (36% 3PT shooter in RS/POs in '98, with the 3PT line moved back) after his Bulls' stint, and I'm obviously not talking about the seasons with the shortened line. Give him more 3s in this era and he's good enough of a shooter that the defenses couldn't leave him wide open all the time.

You don know that the 3pt shot attempts where mostly a product of the era right?
