Can someone explain to me what's wrong with the "Don't Say Gay" bill?It protects gays

It now protects children who are gay from religious and bible thumping teachers pushing a heterosexual or "normal boy/girl" lifestyle on them. 20 years ago this bill the way it's worded would have been celebrated everywhere by liberals. But now it's bad?

It just says that teachers should concentrate on teaching instead of trying to talk to very small children about about their sexuality. Most teachers do not have psych degrees anyways and are not qualified to talk to children of any age about their sexuality. But we are only talking about 5-9 year olds. So what exactly is the problem here?

What's wrong with the "Don't Say Gay Bill" is that it's inconsistent. Why is it a no-no to sexually indoctrinate 9 year olds but open season on 10 year olds? Sexually indoctrinating children should be illegal in public schools period.

Teachers are role models and if one of their students, no matter the age, wants to inquire about dildos and about cutting their pen*s off, the teacher should be allowed to go into deep discussions with the student about those topics and actively encourage their students to partake in the delusi...err I mean in their natural desires and curiosity. I cant recall any of my teachers ever talking about their personal lives, not to any great extent anyway. Sure, a brief anecdote here and there, but nothing too personal.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that I had teachers where I didn't even know their first names. Mr. Brown was just "Mr. Brown". I thought nothing of it; that's just how it was. They were there to teach and we were there to learn. The notion of being friends with a teacher never even occurred to me, and I would have been seriously creeped out if they ever talked about their sex lives.

Any teacher that wants to do those things is up to something, and it isn't anything good.
