Without the Celtics doing what they did because the league was shook after a 22 year old James just carried his team single-handedly to the Finals, LeBron would’ve went back to the Finals again in 2008 and in 2010 as well, so he would’ve never had to have formed his own big 3 in Miami to go against Boston’s big 3 with. It was Boston who disrupted the natural, competitive environment of the league.

Honestly, the Pistons could’ve still beaten the Cavs. I think it’s a competitive series regardless.

This is true but on the other hand if Kobe doesnt collude with Gasol after initially failing to collude with Chicago, and the Clippers, he wouldnt have made the finals in the first place.

So altho collusion did prevent Lebron‘s organic Cavs from reaching the finals, it also enabled Kobe’s artificially constructed Superteam to do so.

This is literally a fact if we accept the logic of LeBron haters but they’ve never been consistent so…

The Cavs were a massive favorite with homecourt advantage over the 10' Celtics but lost a 2-1 lead because Lebron averaged 21 on 34% for the last 3 ganes.

Post-injury Garnett was a 14/7 bum and the Celtics were an old, garbage team (only 50 wins despite being healthy all year ).. Unfortunately, Lebron had a historic quit-job meltdown, so the Cavs lost as a -500 favorite.

Furthermore, the only reason the 2008 Cavs lost to Boston in 7 was because Lebron averaged 26 on 35%.. Lebron was horrific against the top comp from 07-11'.. Worst-ever

Nah, Boston was an organic thing with moves made by the front office, the way it should be. They were all on the verge of being past their prime anyway.

And in one more season KG suffered an injury that effectively made him 75% of the player he was pre injury. That 2009 team was better than the 2008 team. Kobe got a ring in 2009 because he faced the Magic instead of a superior version of the previous years Celtic team.

If LeBron played better defense and Mo Williams didn’t disappear they would’ve faced Kobe’s Lakers in the Finals. And LeBron should’ve got the Cavs to the Finals in 2010, as they were the favorites, to face Kobe’s Lakers for the first and/or second time.

Lol boston were just a 24-win team the time the 2007 playoffs began. The heat, otoh, were a 47-win team in 2010 that also had the 2006 finals mvp.

I guess it's a positive that OP had enough intelligence to create a topic and not a huge deal that he doesn't know what "collusion" means. But he's still a dumb ass.
