Celtics are winning and tatum gonna win fmvp. Where would that place him amongst the leagues best players? Top 5? Top 3 maybe? Top 3 be tough with joker and greek but i can't see him being outside anyone's top 5. Outside of those 2 you could put luka and embiid ahead of him but that's really it.

*If* he outplays Kevin Durant, Giannis,Butler and proceeds to beat whoever comes out the West as the best player on the floor then that would make him the best player on the planet

Key word IF. Not likely to happen

o you mean currently...i just actually read the OP :oldlol: instead of just the title.

He would enter the top 5 players in the league discussion..I got him right around devin booker currently @ 11. I think him winning all that would push him up to around 7/6/5 ish. You can only take this championship so seriously tho....

Yeah currently. Why this chip and not others though? Injuries usually play a role in chips.

IF that was to happen, he would move up for sure. I don't see him getting past Giannis. If some how he does, I don't see him getting out the East. If he does all that, I don't see him getting past Golden State Warriors. If that was all to happen, then yea he deserves to move up. Huge ifs though. Tall task.

That would put him at #1 in the NBA.

All time rank I think it jumps him up to like top 20-25 range at least. That would be 3 different conference finals and a finals mvp. I would put him over guys like Karl Malone, jerry west, chris paul who never won anything or in jerry's case never dominant while winning.

Having one Finals MVP is nice but he needs more accomplishments (more All-Star teams and All-NBA teams) to even crack the top 75 of all time list.

Right now his resume is closer to Andre Iguodala than guys like Kawhi, KD, Harden, etc.

Depends on how well he produces. I think he's already peaked on how high he could possibly be viewed after this season. He's not going to be top 3, that's for sure.

He didn’t beat LeBron so he can’t be the best

In fairness to OP he didn’t win FMVP, but he was the best player in the series.

An eastern conference Devin Booker just like I said :oldlol:…nothing more….nothing less… he will never be joel esque…. He just doesn’t have….. It. He lacks the “it” factor. He will always give me Paul George vibes. He will always be a 2nd fiddle…a Kyrie… a robin…
