“Recover” implies there was a time he wasnt ****ed.

But honestly the trade never made any sense. He said at one point while holding out with the Sixers (or his reps said it) that he never got the chance to play for a team that needed time to grow and where there wasnt any pressure or expectations. Those seem to be the conditions his psyche requires.

Then he greenlights a trade to the Nets where they have high expectations right away and will need him to play at a high level in a playoff atmosphere.

It just makes no sense. Nothing with this dude or his representatives makes any sense.

I appreciate his willingness to ride with Klutch but Im not sure Rich Paul is steering this kid in the right direction. Lebron himself may have to get more hands-on when it comes to Ben’s career and what the right moves to make are.

I actually feel a little sympathy for him now.

Of all times people, EVERYONE, are jumping off him and going at him hard.

It is more apparent now than ever he has some very serious and deep mental issues.

He is still only just a kid, barely 25, and he has no way of helping himself. The people around him obviously have never looked out for his best interests and have no way of helping him either, probably the complete opposite.

The worst decision he has made is perhaps is in the summer when he and the people around him stopped Joel and the rest of the team getting on that flight to LA to come apologize and convince him to come back to the team.

Staying as a 76er was probably the best thing for him as the team knew him and his trouble better than anyone else and he was in a safe and familiar environmental. It may sound a little bizzare, but Philly was probably the most stable place for him.

Oh well at least he has life changing money and will never have to work again. Even without this year's salary. Josh Harris and the Sixers organization should just pay him anyway.

Yes, he's never going to recover or be a star player again because of the losers on Twitter. Great take, OP.

He's never going to recover because a year later he's still dealing with mental struggles about passing up a layup because of rim protector Trae Young.

Dude is cooked.
