giannis is the anti lebron. first he wins a title with just one sidekick and no ring chasing. now he might win without one and still on the same team that drafted him. he passes lebron with a 2nd legit ring

he will have one 2009 kobe title and one 1994 Hakeem title

I mean I guess it’s not his fault they dont call nearly the amount of fouls on him they could/should. So it does make him effective.

But if committing a travel/charge every possession wasnt allowed, Giannis wouldnt be a top 50 offensive player.

I would add Murant

Yes that's right!

Morant is the american champ I agree, unlikely some years ago, but yeah, that's the american people's champ.

Though we still need to see some heroics from him and not just playing on a deep team.

Giannis is a great player. However, he got extremely luck last year when the Bucks won.

It's worth noting that all championship teams benefit from luck (to varying extents). Obviously the Bucks last year were more lucky than most championship winning teams (two of the Nets' three best players got hurt in the same series, the Hawks were a more favorable matchup than the 76ers, and the Suns were overall not that good in the Finals).

Ultimately I will always have more respect for guys like LeBron and KD because they took control of their own careers (by leaving the teams that drafted them because the front offices of those teams weren't cutting it); they are more pragmatic regarding their careers and less idealistic (hoping that all the stars align perfectly for you to win a championship is not a viable long-term strategy); they are more real and genuine than someone like Giannis who tries too hard to get the fans and media to like him (fans are generally fickle; trying desperately to earn their approval is weak sauce); and they are less complacent than Giannis (who got very lucky that all the stars aligned perfectly for him to win a title in Milwaukee).

At the end of the day, I personally prefer ballers who are more willing to speak their minds and speak truth to power (not to mention, take control of their careers and be less reliant on luck and pencil pushers in the front office).

Whatever happened to that player georgios Papagiannis? Remember when Euroleague used to post here and tell us he was the next big nba superstar, but got shipped back to Greece after he proved to be a dud? I miss euroleague. Great troll

28/13/7 with elite defense

I would say Giannis is easily having a top 3 peak

Only Jordan and kawhi have higher peaks
