Not many guys can match The Greek Freak physically. Robert Williams is pretty impressive though:

- 6'10" in shoes
- 9'4" standing reach
- 7'5.5" wingspan
- 240 pounds when drafted (probably 250+ now)
- 40.5" vertical
- 12'8.5" max reach (standing reach + vertical)
- Exceptional agility
- Ballerina-like feet

He defended him quite well in some of these clips. I don't know of many players that can physically play him straight up. Maybe a healthy AD? You need a combination of athleticism, size, and length.

actually the best gianna defense is honest officiating. unfortunately the league decided barreling into the lane with a dropped shoulder is not an offensive foul any longer (for gianna at least) , it's the best thing to ever happen to her.

Horford is still the best 1-on-1 defender against Giannis.

He has the size, and whatever he may lack in athleticism, he makes up in intelligence and proper defensive positioning.

Rob Will, on the other hand, while more athletic seems to be easily fooled by pumpfakes etc. since he always jumps for blocks. Countering Giannis with just pure athleticism is practically impossible

It was. Rob was great with the help defense most times. The problem is you can't ask Al to do that for you everytime down the floor. The guy is 35 years old.
