Which one was more harmful to their legacy?

Neither, both of their legacies were already set by those points.

Also, the underdog team cannot choke. The Celtics were expected to win that series lol.

This. Meanwhile, LeBron in 2011 is responsible for the most colossal choke of all time fresh off the biggest collusion in NBA history

1995 2nd Round

Pippen..... 19 on 40%
Jordan..... 30 on 47%

Anytime a series was close or lost, it was Pippen's poor play that caused it

jordon in 1995.
Because it wasn't just a choke for that one season, it was a complete career choke that exposed what a fraud he truly was.

jordon against the Magic in 1995:

31.0 ppg on .477
6.5 rpg
3.7 apg
2.5 spg
1.8 bpg

Lost the series in 6.

jordon against the Sonics in 1996:

27.3 ppg on .415
5.3 rpg
4.2 apg
1.7 spg
0.2 bpg

Won the series in 6.

He completely exposed how useless his stats were. It would've actually been helpful for his legacy had jordon put up horrible numbers against the Magic in 1995. Then there might've been something to that "he was in baseball shape" excuse jordon extremist alts LOVE to use. Instead he actually put up a borderline monster statline against the Magic yet LOSE, only to put up an atrocious one in the 1996 finals the following season yet WIN, thereby completely exposing the cause of the Bulls winning in the 90s = team effort.

I agree that nobody brings up Kobe's epic choke in 2004. Why? Because he isn't GOAT material and probably not even top 10, so why bother bring up that epic choke in a GOAT discussion?
Much like his 6-24 brickage in game 7 of the 2010 finals isn't brought up, or his 15.6 ppg on .367 in the 2000 finals aren't brought up.

It's similar to why Larry Bird getting swept by the Bucks in 1983 while averaging 18.7 on .441 isn't brought up, or why his loss against the Pistons while shooting .351 in 1988 is given a free pass.

The top 7 Bird and top 12 Kobe simply aren't held to the same standard as the top 1 LeBron is.

A star's job is to win the game in the 4th quarter - Jordan failed to do this for one of the games by turning it over on the last possession.. It was the first time in his career that he turned it over on the last possession.

And prime Jordan might've averaged 40 against the newbie garbage Magic.. 30/6/3 on okay efficiency was far below his pre-baseball standard of 35/7/7 in 85-93' Playoffs or 36/7/8 in the Finals..

Any Jordan fan that watched his first game back from baseball instantly saw that he was a completely different athlete.. He was still the best overall athlete in the league, but his peerless air game (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U1-Me7cXPQY&t=01m42s) was mostly gone

lol 1995 was great for Jordan's legacy overall.

It made 1996 (72-10 season kick starting a new three peat) that much more meaningful and legendary, Jordan's career is like a mythology, it's why the general public is still obsessed with Jordan so many years after he's retired. Sweeping Orlando after people saying he was done in 1995 and the Shaq/Penny era was beginning made 1996 10x more sweet.

Wade > Gasol

Wade is right there with Kobe and even MJ or Lebron - that was Wade's caliber - see the 06' or 11 Playoffs
