We saw what Bird did to him. Back to Back, 0-6 sweeps.

Magic would probably 0-9 and sweep his ass three years in a row :lol

Give MJ Bird's roster and Magic would be like Bron in Finals

Magic was still in his prime in 1991. He might of already had aids by then, but he was still in his prime.

I think the better question is how MJ would fair if he faced Kareem instead of divac. Younger Kareem like the 1982-84 version of him.

MJ literally ducked Hakeem. Prime Kareem would make him retire AND not come back

You mean Hakeem ducked MJ. Hakeem got swept by Seattle and then lost to Utah to avoid MJ.

Hakeem had prime Sampson, Thorpe, Drexler, Barkley. Drexler and Barkley led teams to finals and Hakeem lost with them.

He never had AIDS and he wasn't sick during the Finals. It takes years for HIV to develop into AIDS. They caught the virus early on, so there was nothing wrong with Magic during the '91 Playoffs. He looked like prime Magic like you said. Early 80s Kareem would have made it a close series, but there's no way they're stopping Jordan.

Magic is only 3 years older than Jordan, lol, he was still near his peak in 1991.

People act like it was a 25 year old Jordan taking on a 35 year old Magic, when that wasn't close to the case.

Give Magic and Jordan equivalent teams ... like say give Jordan the Celtics roster minus Bird and Jordan beats every version of the 80s Lakers IMO.

He'd fare much better than Kobe would since unlike Stockton, Kobe's dead.

Magic's team was pretty injured.

Magic lost with HCA to Hakeem as well as Kevin Johnson. But again that is when they had decent teams. Bird constantly lost with HCA the unfortunate part was 1986 and 1987 were probably his best two teams. Bucks swept him in 1983 when Bird had HCA, Ewing even beat him in 1990 when Bird had HCA.

If you copy-paste the 1991 Bulls and put them in 1981, they would spend the entire 80s fighting with the Pistons for which of the two teams would be the 3rd and which the 4th best team in the league. In the 90s on the other hand, where a team whose #2 scorer in the playoffs averaged 13.8 points on .376 shooting won a championship, the Bulls were like kids in a candy store.

And that same team beat Hakeem/Barkley/Drexler and then Duncan/Robinson and then Shaq/Kobe.

Lebron lost to old Duncan and got dominated.
