going 2 weeks on and 1 week off.. all year

So every team plays 6 or 7 games in 2 weeks and then everyone gets a 1 week break.. Or maybe a 6-day break... Do this all year

This is necessary to account for the higher stress levels on the legs due to hands-off rules and covering more ground (spacing)

see op, this ^ is what happens when youre an obsessive lunatic - even when you post something sensible, youre still going to get shit on. Ironically, incessant Lebron/MJ/Pippen spamming has now become the only thing you can afford to talk about when it comes to basketball

Thats a terrible suggestion. Imo make it 58 games and make everyone play each other twice.

European leagues implement ‘bye weeks’ for their teams though not often as 3ball is proposing. But I don’t know how often injuries happen there compared to nba. To me it just feels like injuries are gonna happen regardless because of the nature of the modern game involves so much running/jumping than ever before.

Or they could find some less soft players. This crop is softer than tissue

I love when anonymous chuds on the internet call elite athletes ‘soft’ when these chuds would quit sports forever the minute they got a cramp.

Bruh we aren't comparing them to us. They're compared to other pro players in different era's.

No but players would be rusty with week breaks

I'd say shorten the season to 72 games (82 games is unnecessarily long) and get rid of back to backs

Injuries have kinda taken away my enjoyment for the NBA because it's more about which team has the best luck with injuries rather than the actual best team winning - see 2015,2017, 2018,2019 and 2021

How does you admitting that players would benefit from breaks fit with your narrative that jordon didn't have an unfair advantage over everyone else when he took his breaks?

not his fault players wasnt smart, i would have taken breaks too if it won me 3 more chips. f basketball straight up some people live for it and turn out failures(lebron) some just dont really give a f about it and are winners(jordan)

This is the only sensible thing.

There is more injuries now because players have to go lateral more and more which is tough on joints.

OP probably right. Elongate the season by 2 weeks and cut out back to backs completely

expanding the G-League, and consider whether or not parent franchises needs to delegate certain amount of high salary player appearances.

jordon also took a rest between 1998 and 2001, yet failed to make the playoffs in two weakest conferences ever (52-30 and 50-32 record #1 seeds).
Why? Because he didn't have an equivalent of The Great Scott Pippen and Rodman/Grant not to mention Phil Jackson in 2001, hence his massive failure and playing worse than teammate Jerry Stackhouse.

no he just didnt give a fvck. it's ok theres plenty of players that do give a fvck and are losers. jordan just got to old to overcome his not giving a fvck

People still get injured, doesn't matter of you cut it down to a 32 game season. With one game a week.
It is part of the game
