Mr. Robespierre was a very interesting character. He executed the oligarchs, the aristocrats, and the royalties, but eventually he got himself executed at the end of his reign of terror.

Robespierre and his Jacobins killing those Aristocrats. Paved the way for the rise of a military dictator, and future emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon was also a member of the Jacobin, and he was a good friend of Alexander Robespierre.

I think it makes sense to dedicate a thread to Louis Antoine de Saint-Just. After all, this young man, who died at the age of 27 and whose political career lasted only 22 months, is perhaps the most dazzling figure of the French Revolution. Had he escaped execution, he might have become the new leader of France instead of Napoleon. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRcERjDWJv0inx_T0IJgj4zhAJY4q5Az b55HQK7rX54nJCvZjW2LoHUNxicp1OM4fEGEFk&usqp=CAU

These guys were so powerful that they even created their own Religion called the Cult of the Supreme Being. Maximilien hated the Christians especially the Catholics.
