View Full Version : Morant has a bone bruise. Anyone who still thinks Poole's swipe did that is a moron.

Expert actually speaks on it here. Rare for ESPN, no? Interesting.
Anyhow... yeah... for those of you that thought it was Poole, nope, sorry.

Probably gave it to himself doing that stupid embarrassing dance or bulldozing into the paint at 200mph.

It's a double edged sword though is it not? He isn't who he is without that style of relentless attacking and twisting and carrying the ball.
He has to do those things... otherwise he's substantially worse as a player. They are what make him special.
Might and very likely will cause his career to be substantially shortened, but the net result for him is still probably a positive.
Wow, it took him not so long before it took a toll on his knee.

Here's the thing bro. If you think a swipe to the knee that soft could cause an injury on a pro athlete... you're frankly softer than a piece of
wonderbread white bread.
Poole literally just swiped at the ball on a stand still player and missed and slapped his knee. He wasn't in the air. He didn't fall funny. There was no hockey check type physical contact. The guy literally got slapped on the leg. LOL. This era is Charmin soft. I need a gif of this.

I wasnt watching when it happened and still havent seen the play in question. Hard for me to understand tho how a swipe at a guy’s leg causes a bone bruise. Unless maybe his wrist bone caught him right in the knee cap or something? Even then it feels hard to really see how a significant injury happens.
The whole thing seems pretty bizarre.
Altho it’s also true that Morant is such a high flyer in large part due to having a very light weight bone structure. So it shouldnt be surprising he bruises easy.

weird, no one is saying... so Kerr tested positive for COVID-19, we should shut the series down for further testing.

Well you should watch it. That's why I want a gif.
Poole literally tapped the guy on the knee swiping for the ball 25 feet from, the hoop while he was in stationary position. There s just... no way that could have caused a bone bruise. The contact was a joke. To be honest... I think that was his safe word out of this ass whooping.
They were down 30, 1-3 at the time it happened... Its cowardly and promptly timed. Ja couldn't take his ass whooping like a man. Maybe after he gets his eyebrows detailed again he'll get his nails painted.
