Tatum has led teams to the conference finals while being so young. Tmac couldn’t do that for his entire career

How is he better? Passing? Uh no Tatum got that. Rebounding? No Tatum again. 3 -way offensive threat? Tatum has that too. I’m pretty sure Tmac has no 50pt games in the playoffs.

Jamal Murray got more 50 point playoff games than Tatum and McGrady combined.
Murray >> Tatum > McGrady right?

Stats are all through the roof now. I remember when Tmac did 32/6/5 and those were considered video game stats, and KG did 24/13/5. Those aren’t “jaw dropping stats” anymore, more like “sticking out your lower lip and nodding stats” these days. Lebron arguably has better stats than 2012 while not being close to that same player. I love me some 17 westbrook and Trae but they aren’t better than 08 Kobe or 09 Wade. 09 Wade’s 30/5/7 was jaw dropping at the time.

McGrady is a better shooter than either of them, a better athlete and you still shouldn't put Tatum at point guard full time whereas McGrady could if you needed that from him. Tatum could become better but has yet to create a great argument for that with his play.
