Played right into the Celtics hand. You know Giannis is going for 35+. Contain the other guys and don't let them get into a rhythm and you've put yourself in a position to win the game. I think they've understood that the more the series has gone on.

The way the Celtics offense has played this series has dictated whether they win each game or not.

He shot 14-30 and had 6 turnovers. Tough luck.
LeBron scored 51 points on 19-32 shooting in a finals game and still had to hear sh!t because his sh!t supporting cast didn't show up and lost to a 73-9 team + peak Kevin Durant.

So how come the Bucks cant do the same to Boston? Or is the coach retarded?

quite frankly they have struggled all playoff season.
They are supposed to knock down 3's ... and they have failed miserably.

I don't think Giannis gets enough credit for the work be has done with this franchise. They're built well around with a team first make-up but on paper, this team isn't anything exceptional to write home about.

Without Middleton the Celtics have more talent. After Ante no Buck can score like Brown and Smart and Horford are capable of getting 20 on occasion. Bucks have been able to compete because Antetokuonmpo is great and Holiday is tough.

I am sick of Pat Connaughton which means Milwaukee should start him.

I know you took this thread totally off topic but... the really ****ed up part is when you think about it LeBron would have 6 or 7 titles right now had Durant not gone to the Warriors and had Kyrie + Love not gotten injured for the 2015 Finals. If everything goes as it should... let's say this...

+2015 Champs
-2016 Champs
+2017 Champs
+2018 Champs

Let's assume he still goes to the Lakers and still gets 2020. That's 6 titles. The GOAT convo changes drastically.

It's amazing how each and every single thing that happens can have a butterfly effect on literally everything else, meanwhile the actual skill and talent level of a player, good or bad, has never wavered.

Imagine Middleton doesn't get hurt... this thread doesn't exist because the Celtics are probably already bounced.

Imagine Magic Johnson gets drafted by the Bulls instead of the Lakers.
Imagine Larry Bird gets drafted by the Warriors instead of the Celtics.
Imagine the Bulls take Reggie Williams instead of Scottie Pippen.
Imagine Kobe stays with the Hornets.
Imagine LeBron never leaves Cleveland and they continue to mismanage his entire career and he keeps them good enough to stay out of the lottery but not good enough to ever win it all. Ringless.

Talk about drastically altered careers.

Winning is overrated in a team sport in which an insane amount of decisions can completely alter your career path.

Individuals are overrated, teams are underrated, everyone is retarded, and that is what it is.

Shit like tennis and golf are the only sports in which individuals should be so heavily scrutinized and praised. But it'll never happen because people are too stupid for this conversation or too prideful to admit what I'm saying is true. On top of that, all of this bullshit is entertaining, but none of it means anything.

It's also highly possible Lakers win last season if AD didn't get injured. He's easily the GOAT.

They're built well around with a team first make-up but on paper, this team isn't anything exceptional to write home about.2 MVP's, 1 DPOY, 1 FMVP and is widely considered bitw despite Jokic winning MVP. This is based on him only being a superstar for 4 or 5 seasons. How is he not getting the credit?

You forgot the 10 charges and 7 travels that weren't counted by the refs as well. Must be nice for Giannis. :lol
